Home Remedy For Intestinal Worms

Parasites are organisms that invade the body and feed on our nutrients and blood to live. Parasites can be internal and external. While external parasites are mostly visible to the human eye and easily removed through a number of methods, internal parasites are difficult to identify and require more effort to be rid of. External parasites like head lice, and body lice are very common infections in human beings.

Parasites, especially, external parasites spread fast through personal belongings, clothes and sheets. Therefore it is of utmost importance to rid them completely from the house to prevent others from getting infected. For dealing with a parasitic infection, you need not resort to antibiotics. Home remedies too are strong enough to exert their deep action on parasites and remove them completely.

Home Remedies For Parasites

Eat Carrots
Eating carrots are a known remedy for treating intestinal parasites. Take two carrots and grate them. Eat them on an empty stomach first thing in the morning.
Doing this every day will not only rid you of parasites, but also prevent parasitic attacks in the future. What more, they can also keep your eyes healthy and clear.

Lemon And Spearmint
Take one cup of spearmint juice and add some black salt and lemon juice to it. Drink this every day to remove all kinds of parasitic infections in your stomach.
Parasites can cause malnutrition and many other problems in your body and hence it is very essential to remove them from your system for perfect health.

Raw Coconut
Munching on grated coconut can kill all the parasites in your stomach. Do this for a week if you suspect the presence of parasites in your stomach.
You can also get the same effect by drinking coconut water. Take the benefit of coconut water and grated coconut together and put your body on a fast track healing in a few days.

Castor Oil And Milk
Take a glass of warm milk and add two teaspoons of castor oil to this. Drinking this milk will remove the parasites through the stools. Do this continuously for a week to get complete relief from intestinal parasites.

Seeds Of Lemon
Lemon seeds that are crushed can kill parasites and remove their activity in the stomach. Take the seeds of lemon and crush them to make a paste. Add it along with a glass of water and drink it. You can also add them with lemon juice. If possible, just chew the seeds and swallow them which is much easier.

Pomegranate Juice
Drinking pomegranate juice is said to offer that much needed relief from parasites in your stomach.
Pomegranate can be eaten or taken as juice. Add pomegranate in your daily diet to prevent parasitic attacks and keep your stomach clean and healthy.

Papaya Seeds
The black seeds of papaya that we throw away every day after consuming tasty papayas can actually help our body to get rid of parasites. Next time do not throw them away. Crush them to form a paste and consume them along with the papayas for cleaning the stomach and keeping them clear of parasitic worms.

Tomatoes
Slice two tomatoes and add black salt and pepper to it. Eat it every day to prevent fungal and parasitic infections of the stomach and body. Tomatoes can be consumed raw as salads too if you prefer that way.

Garlic
Garlic has a very unpleasant smell which can help remove the parasites from the stomach. They are also antibacterial and antifungal in properties and hence a wonderful remedy for killing microbes in the body. Chew a few cloves of garlic every day for prevention and removal of parasites.

Buttermilk And Yoghurt
Probiotics is very powerful in killing parasites and candida infections inside the stomach by cultivating healthy bacterial growth in the stomach and busting the action of parasites and fungal growth.
Consume a cup of buttermilk or yoghurt every day to keep your stomach free from infections and to prevent the multiplication of bad bacteria.

Raw Vegetable Juices
Drinking raw vegetable juices have abundant benefits for the body. Vegetable juices have essential nutrients that the body will absorb from the juice. Along with that, antioxidants in the juices will promote cleaning of the blood cells along with the parasites and toxins that are present in the body.
Also present in raw vegetables are digestive enzymes which help in eliminating parasites and candida. The juices that you can mix and drink are carrots, spinach, celery, cucumber etc.

Rice Vinegar
Vinegar in all forms is good for treating a number of ailments. Tale one tablespoon of rice vinegar and mix with a glass of water. The more acidic the vinegar, the better. Drink this every day to destroy the parasites in your stomach. If you have severe parasite infections, 3-4 glasses a day is recommended.

Cloves
Cloves being antimicrobial in character are good for treating parasites in the intestine. They can destroy the eggs as well as the parasites in the body and help in preventing further episodes of infestation. Take 1-2 cloves every day to prevent parasites in your body.

Wormwood
Wormwood is a very bitter herb and excellent for removing parasites from the intestines. Wormwood cannot be taken
on its own due to toxic nature. You can mix wormwood with some other herb while taking them. Even though it is a great remedy for parasites, it’s not a good remedy for children due to its toxic nature.

Turmeric
Turmeric has a multitude of medicinal effects and can be used for treating parasitic infections. Add turmeric in your food or consume them directly with water which will have a faster and more efficient result on the parasite.

Diet for Intestinal Worms

The effects of parasitic infections such as intestinal worms are more likely to have a severe affect on your body if the immune system is already weak. With this in mind, it is essential that you change your eating habits and have a healthy balanced diet rich in fiber and healthy bacteria. Some suggestions to improve your diet include :

  • Add anti-parasitic foods to your daily diet. These include blackberries, papaya, pineapple, pomegranate, onions, garlic, and raw cabbage.
  • Ground almond and pumpkin seeds are also thought to have anti-parasitic effects. They help cleanse the digestive system and prevent intestinal worms from breeding.
  • Avoid coffee, alcohol, refined sugar and processed foods to help cleanse your digestive system.
  • Foods such as carrots, sweet potatoes and squash are high in beta carotene and can help improve a weak immune system.
  • A diet high in fiber-rich foods such as pumpkin seeds, beetroot, flaxseeds may help eliminate intestinal parasites. These also help detox your digestive system and prevent constipation.
  • If you are diagnosed with intestinal worms, it may be beneficial to begin an all-fruit diet for five to seven days to cleanse the system. Check with your doctor before beginning any new routine or treatment though.
  • Stay away from fatty foods such as butter, cream, and oil until all the worms are removed.
  • Meats such as beef, pork, and chicken should be avoided until the treatment for intestinal worms is complete.
  • Probiotics such Lactobacillus acidophilus found in dairy yogurt should be consumed every day to prevent intestinal worms from breeding.
